Vix & Dan’s Pre-Wedding Shoot at The Coniston Hall Hotel

There’s nothing I love more than to see couples who really put forth the effort into making their wedding special & unique to them with fantastic personal touches, not only is it more personal and intimate, you could end up saving quite a few pennies at the same time which given the worlds state of affairs at the moment, can’t be bad!

With this in mind I loved the pre-wedding shoot & consultation I had with Vix & Dan a couple of weeks ago, two amazingly creative individuals who’s wedding I have the pleasure of shooting at The fabulous Coniston Hall Hotel next month!

We met at the venue for the pre-wedding shoot & we chatted about all sorts of things, particularly the amazing lengths they have gone to & their ideas to make their wedding truly special & unique, such as the loose theme of their wedding, ‘The Mad Hatters Tea Party’, I know what you’re thinking & yeah I can’t wait either! Everyone attending is encouraged to wear a hat to the day, the more outrageous & flamboyant the better, even Dan’s insisted I have to wear one too, which I have to say I’m secretly thrilled about!

Vix is an interior designer & craft-lady extraordinaire, having made all the place settings by hand – these amazing personalised cups, magnetic plush biscuits & teabag place names & favours which you can see in my images! I was originally going to show off their amazing colours but didn’t want to completely ruin the surprise for any of their guests reading this before the big day so I’ve edited them as cream-tones!

Dan runs a government website as well as being a ‘super-star DJ’, here we go! Being very creative & particular about music he’s been in charge of hiring the live entertainment which I’m not going to say too much about here, but if all goes well – should be AWESOME!!!

This will be my second wedding at The Coniston Hall Hotel, and as you can see from these Stunning views, it’s one of my favourite venues!
